The Romería del Rocío is a pilgrimage in southern Spain that, despite its enormous size, is little known in the rest of Europe. A romería is a joyful pilgrimage in which music, song, and dance play an important role. I walked this grueling yet beautiful journey six times and created a photo book with 200 images about it which is still for sale, see BOOK.
